Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Terms and Reservation of Amendments
(1) The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply between convention.group GmbH and its customers in the current version at the time of contract conclusion.
(2) Terms referring to individuals include both men and women.
(3) The GTC apply to all events organized by convention.group unless different participation conditions are specified for the respective event. For events not organized by convention.group, the GTC or participation conditions of the respective organizer apply.
Amending or supplementing participation conditions for events can be found in the online registration for the respective events.
(4) convention.group reserves the right to adapt and modify the GTC due to new developments in legislation, jurisprudence, technology, product and service offerings, and/or other reasons. In particular, changes that are not exclusively advantageous for the user will be communicated at least four weeks in advance, and the user will be notified.
(5) If the user does not object to these changes within four weeks of receiving the notification at their last known email address, the contractual relationship will continue based on the amended GTC. If the user objects to the amended GTC, they must immediately cease using the services and may terminate the contract without notice.
2. Registration and Participation Conditions for Events
(1) A binding registration is made by announcing the desire to participate via online booking, email, fax, or telephone. We kindly request timely registrations no later than four days before the event since many events have a limited number of participants or require a certain minimum number of participants.
(2) Registration Confirmation
If you register online, you will receive a registration confirmation via email within 24 hours. If you do not receive confirmation, your registration has not been received. In the case of paid events, we request that you pay the participation fee at least 4 days before the event or at the beginning of the event in cash; otherwise, participation in the event is not possible. In particular, a place for the event is reserved only when the full participation fee has been received by convention.group - ghost.company - Advertising Agency Michael Mehler e. U.
(3) Image Processing
By registering for an event, you agree that CG is authorized to take photographs, as well as film and video recordings of the congress or exhibition proceedings and that personal image material may be published (print media, TV, and the internet). If you do not wish for this to happen, you must express your objection in writing.
(4) Right of Withdrawal and Withdrawal Period
If you book the event privately and the booking of an event takes place in distance selling, especially by phone, fax, or the internet, the participant as a consumer within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG) has a legal right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract under the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (FAGG). This does not apply to events that begin within these 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract. The withdrawal period is considered to be observed if the withdrawal declaration is sent within the period. Withdrawals from the contract declaration are possible within 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the contract without stating reasons by sending a written withdrawal declaration (e.g., letter, fax, email). It is sufficient if the withdrawal declaration is sent within this period (the date of the postmark is essential).
The written withdrawal declaration should be addressed to:
