Cookies
Use of cookies
Cookies to improve the functionality of our websites
Among other things, we use cookies to better understand how our websites are used and to improve their attractiveness, content and functionality. Cookies help us, for example, to determine which subpages of our website are visited and what content users are interested in. For this purpose we use Flash cookies and loading time optimization cookies. In particular, these so-called first party cookies record the number of visits to a page, the number of sub-pages viewed, the time spent on our websites, the sequence of pages visited, which search terms have led you to us, the country, region and, if applicable, city from which access is made, which operating system and which Internet browser with which language setting you use, as well as the proportion of mobile terminals that access our websites. We also capture movement, clicks and scrolling with the computer mouse to understand which areas of our site are of particular interest to visitors. The IP address of your computer transmitted for technical reasons is automatically anonymised and does not allow us to draw any conclusions about you.
Cookies for use-based online advertising
We also reserve the right to use information that we have obtained by means of cookies from an analysis of the usage behaviour of visitors to our websites in order to display specific advertising for certain of our products on our own websites. We believe that you as a user will benefit from this because we display advertisements or content that we believe, based on your browsing habits, are appropriate to your interests and you will therefore see less randomly scattered advertisements or certain content that is less likely to interest you.
Please note that cookies do not damage your device (PC, Smartphone, Tablet). The cookies we use do not store any personal data that identifies the user. The encrypted information obtained in this way is only used to improve the quality of your navigation on our website. For example, these can be helpful in identifying and fixing errors on the website. Furthermore, we have the possibility to suggest further interesting and possibly relevant products to the visitor of the website.
We provide this information in full compliance with current legislation. Furthermore, we guarantee our integrity and transparency with regard to your privacy while using our website. We are constantly working to improve our site in terms of cookies and privacy.
More information about cookies can be found on the following websites: http://www.allaboutcookies.org/ and http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/.
